Congratulations, adlilatun nur! You're 39 Weeks Pregnant. Your baby is about 21.5 inches long from head to toe and weighs a little more than 7 pounds. Toenails and fingernails are fully grown, his arm and leg muscles are strong, and he's practicing lung movements. You're probably feeling quite large and uncomfortable. Your uterus has filled your pelvis and most of your abdomen, pushing everything else out of the way. Your center of gravity has shifted, too so you may be clumsier than usual.

Many will desire to be induced. This is the time in which most organizations will allow induction of labors to occur. However, beware! Induction of labor is now being studied quite a bit and institutions are finding that even being induced at this gestational age is associated with a doubling of the risk of C/S and complications which can include injury to you and possibly the baby.

The Bishop Score is a tool that was developed many years ago to assess the likelihood of delivery. It has been shown if your Bishop Score is 6 or greater you have a very high likelihood of a successful induction. If the cervix is not ready, it may take several days to get you into labor. The reason for induction of labor can be for many reasons. Healthcare is changing and the physician/midwife whom you would like to deliver you may not always be available. This is one way in which you can have that individual take care of you. But understand it is not always the best thing for you and your baby. Make sure you have a good reason to be induced.

A friend's wife due on 0706 dah deliver last 24th if im not mistaken... My due should be 0806... 
